From ERC and EURAXESS LAC
Congratulations to the two female researchers from Argentina who have just been awarded an ERC Consolidator Grant. They will conduct their research in Portugal and in the Netherlands. They are among the 321 mid-career laureates who were awarded the 2022 European Research Council (ERC) Consolidator Grants to tackle big scientific questions at research centres across Europe.
The funding is part of the EU’s current research and innovation programme, Horizon Europe, and worth in total €657 million. With this support, the grantees will be able to consolidate their teams and conduct pioneering research on topics and with methods of their choosing.
The Argentinian awardees are:
- Eugenia CHIAPPE, ERC consolidator ECoFly Project: Neural Circuits for Error Correction, Champalimaud Foundation, Portugal
